If any instrument or music gear is defective, it can be returned for exchange or refund within 30 days with receipt and in original packaging. Home Music Tools will not accept any returns after 30 days.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Please contact us to get a return authorization number to return your purchase to us. Returns will not be accepted without a RA number
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD or DVD, that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Refunds (if applicable)
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will refund returns, minus shipping (in original undamaged packing and in new and unused condition) within 30 days. Damaged merchandise must be reported within 3 days of receipt for an exchange at no charge. For refunds of merchandise with free shipping, the buyer is responsible for the actual cost of shipping. The shipping cost will be deducted from the final refunded amount once an item has been returned. A restocking fee of 20 percent may apply. No refunds will be issued without prior approval. A customer RMA number must be issued before we can accept any return. Items that are damaged during return will not be accepted for refund or exchange and will be returned to the customer. Shipping insurance for your return packages is strongly advised. No refunds will be issued after 30 days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. We will gladly exchange any sale item for the same item.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and we will provide all the information you need to return the item to us.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
